Nancy Selander
Senior Consultant

Nancy C. Selander has over 15 years of executive leadership experience. Her philosophy is that increased personal awareness can dramatically change both leadership potential and personal effectiveness. Her coaching approach is grounded in her academic training and work/life experiences that include living abroad, extensive travel and success as a corporate executive.

Located in Connecticut, Nancy works out of the New York office of The Leader’s Edge™. She was formerly Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Remedy Intelligent Staffing, a NYSE listed corporation, where she managed 35 offices nationwide and was a member of the Executive Management Team. Her vision and direction helped drive the breakthrough growth and development of Remedy Intelligent Staffing. Her clients included Apple Computer, Bank of America, AT&T and Xerox.

Nancy has long been poised for success in helping others achieve their goals and create positive change in their lives. She began her career teaching adult English classes at Idiomas Cultural Y Arte in Guadalajara, Mexico where she instructed high-profile clients that included the President and CEO of Coca Cola Company and the President and CEO of Volkswagen. She taught English to both executives and their families, traveling extensively throughout Mexico, an experience that prompted her to launch her first language tutoring company.

She received her professional coaching certification from The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara. Nancy is a member of the International Coaching Federation and the National Association of Women Business Owners. An alumnus of Northern Arizona University, Nancy is an avid learner and has continued her education at Manhattanville College and The New School. Nancy is also an active member of her community. She has devoted time to the important work of organizations including: The Frick Museum, Cancer Care, Inc., United Way, The Fresh Air Fund, The Sexual Assault & Education Center, and Blythedale Children’s Hospital.
