High-Performing Women Leaders

Leading Up is a 6-month coaching process specifically designed for women identified as high-potential performers at the director or senior-manager level that helps prepare the next generation of women leaders. Leading Up engages the participant in a comprehensive exploration of her career aspirations, personal style and the impact that she has on the organization. This one-on-one process is tailored to meet the participant's specific needs and challenges and provide her with an action plan for leadership excellence.

Leading Up includes a skills-building Off-site training component to enhance her leadership skills and provide a deeper understanding of how to leverage her strengths, her communication style, and how to navigate her political environment and effectively influence and collaborate.

Each participant meets with her personal coach several times monthly to discuss progress against her goals and action steps.  Each participant creates a Professional Development Plan that the participant and her coach review with her manager to gain support.  The participant and coach also discuss how to enhance her significant stakeholder relationships to achieve business results and maximize her performance.

On-going Support:
Each participant is also enrolled in our L.E.A.D. Membership Program for one year. L.E.A.D. (Leader's Edge Accelerated Development) is a value-added membership program created to give graduates continuous leadership growth and development opportunities. This program will keep the participants connected to each other through on-going learning opportunities and networking experiences.

Individuals can participate in the Open Enrollment Leading Up program where Off-sites are held twice a year (in the Spring and Fall). Or organizations can run their own internal program as well.  Internal programs are best suited for a group of 8-12 women.  Additional topics that can be incorporated to customize the program to the unique needs of your organization include: Work & Life Balance, Style & Impact, and Strategic Thinking.
